Beskozirka - the standard uniform cap without a peak, worn by Russian soldiers, sailors and younger commanders as well as pupils of Naval Schools. Beskozirka peakless hat was introduced in the Russian Army and Navy in 1811. In 1872, the Russian Fleet began putting bands on them. Nowadays, the name of a fleet or a naval school is put on a band.
