These belts were worn by Soviet marines during their inland (field) operations. The belt is made of textile fabric, sodden with and covered by thick plastic layer. The clamp is made of genuine leather. Soviet marines belt is soft and firm, and it's brass buckle is painted brown-green. The belt's length is adjustable. Size 1 fits 25" up to 42" waist. Belt width is 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) Dated late 80s. Unused military stock condition.
The words on the belt are: "Minsk leather goods factory, named after Kuibishev, MLP (ministry of light industry) of USSR, manufactured in September of 1987"
